How to Lead a Child to Christ?
Friday, November 13, 2009
1. Show him his NEED of salvation, that not everyone is going to Heaven, that no one in himself is good enough to go and that the result of sin is separation from God forever (Rom.3:23; Rev.21:27;John 8:21, 24).
2. Show him the WAY of salvation. Salvation is a free gift because the Lord Jesus took our place on the cross, was buried and rose from the dead (John3:16;Eph.2:8; ICor. 15:3-4).
3. Lead him to RECEIVE the gift of salvation by trusting Jesus Christ as his personal Savior (John 1:12; Rev.3:20).
4. Help him find ASSURANCE of his salvation from the Word of God (John 3:36;Rev.3:20; Heb.13:5)
5. Encourage him to CONFESS Christ to other workers , later to friends and family and as circumstances permit, in a public church service (Matt. 10:32.

Can preschool children trust Christ as their Saviour?

The Lord Jesus said, "Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven" (Matt. 18:3) He spoke of little ones who believe in Him and the danger of offending them (Matt18:6)
Well-known Christians have given testimony of early conversion: Amy Carmichael, James Dobson and Billy and Ruth Graham's daughter Ann Lotz were three; Henrietta Mears and Corrie Ten Boom were five. Many children can and do trust Christ during the preschool years when faith is at its peak.
When teaching preschoolers, be sure to include plenty of hands-on interactive activities. Let them touch objects, count and play-act various scenes from the lessons. Children learn through their senses: seeing, hearing, smelling, touching and tasting. Three Rs for preschool learning are rhythm, rhyme and repetition.

Who Will Reach the children?
These is the first batch of students who completed the KID's E E course.Children need the Lord Jesus. Children need to learn about Him, but more importantly they need to receive Him as saviour. Even very young children can understand their need for salvation. But someone must tell them how to have that need met. Will you be that someone?
